- Route optical fiber wiring harness (17), as shown, from installation location (arrow C) of media interface control unit into slot of audio equipment.
- Fasten optical fiber wiring harness (17) using cable ties to vehicle wiring harness.

- Install coupling (20) of optical fiber wiring harness (17), as shown, into the outer contact cavity on the black 44-pin coupling (21).
