Location
The central locking motor is located in the center on the firewall of the trunk lid in the trunk lid lock.
Task
If an opening request is received, the central locking motor is actuated to unlock the rotary tumbler in the trunk lid lock.
The trunk lid rotary tumbler switch (M14/7s1) is installed in the trunk lid lock. The trunk lid status (open or closed) is recognized. The rotary tumbler switch is read in by the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
