Short stroke electric power windows, function - GF72.29-P-4005SK

MODEL 171.4

Function requirements

Short stroke actuation

When opening the door, the window is lowered to the short stroke position (approx. 4 mm, measured from the bottom edge of outer sealing lip to the upper edge of window) without time delay to facilitate opening and closing the doors. The window remains in the short stroke position until the doors are closed.

After closing the door, the window is closed to the upper lock-up position. All parameters for the short stroke function are stored in the left door control unit (N69/1) and right door control unit (N69/2).

Opening or closing windows in short stroke position

As long as the short stroke is activated, the corresponding window cannot be moved upward or closed beyond the short stroke position with the left power window switch (S20/1s1), right power window switch (S20/1s2) or the passenger-side power window switch group (S21/2).

IMPORTANT The left and right rear windows are not actuated via the short stroke function.
