Function requirements

Function abort

Driver-side control point

Short actuation of the left power window switch (S20/1s1) and right front power window switch (S20/1s2) via the first catch point is read in by the left door control unit (N69/1).

The left front power window motor (M10/3) is actuated directly by the left door control unit (N69/1).

The request for the right front power window motor (M10/4) is transmitted to the right door control unit (N69/2) via CAN B (CAN) which then performs actuation.

The corresponding actuation is terminated when the position recognition feature recognizes that the window is completely closed or open.

Passenger control point

Actuation of the passenger-side power window switch (S21/2) beyond the first catch point is read in by the right door control unit (N69/2). The right front power window motor (M10/4) is actuated directly by the right door control unit (N69/2).

The corresponding actuation is terminated when the position recognition feature recognizes that the window is completely closed or open.

Actuation triggered by the passenger-side power window switch group (S21/2), can be interrupted by a request of the driver-side power window switch group (S20/1)

IMPORTANT The power windows can be actuated up to 5 minutes after c. 15R OFF, if the front doors have not yet been opened and the vehicle has not been locked from outside.

The door status (signal for door contact switch) transmits the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module to the CAN B (CAN). The status of the central locking (CL) is transferred to the CAN B (CAN) by the electronic ignition switch (EIS) control unit (N73).
