MODEL 171.4 with CODE (880a) Locking system with infrared remote control
When actuated with transmitter key
Function requirements
- Circuits 15C, 15R and 15 off
- Doors closed
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
- Vario roof closed
Abort
- The convenience closing/opening function is interrupted if a lock-up recognition is present.
Convenience closing
The central locking (CL) locks and the passenger and driver windows are closed when the "Lock" button on the transmitter key (A8/1) is pressed continuously while simultaneously pointing to the left IR receiver (A26/1) or the right IR receiver (A26/2).
The position of driver and passenger windows is stored previously.
When the Vario roof is open, it is first closed before the rear window and the driver and passenger door windows are closed
Convenience opening
The central locking (CL) locks and the passenger and driver windows are moved to the last position stored (summer opening) when the "Lock" button on the transmitter key (A8/1) is permanently actuated while simultaneously pointing to the left IR receiver (A26/1) or the right IR receiver (A26/2).
When the transmitter key (A8/1) continues to be actuated, all windows are opened completely.
Then the Vario roof is opened as long as the function prerequisites are fulfilled.
