	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go, press KEYLESS-GO start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove the transmitter key from the vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 meters).
1	Temporarily store basic data of Digital Audio Broadcasting control unit (N87/3) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing the Digital Audio broadcasting control unit (N87/3).	Installation:  Copy temporarily stored basic data into Digital Audio Broadcasting control unit (N87/3).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2	Remove left side paneling in trunk		AR68.30-P-4800RBS
3	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go, press Keyless-Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove Keyless-Go chip card or transmitter key from vehicle and store beyond transmission range of transmitter (min. 2 m).
4	Unscrew nuts (1).
5	Disconnect electrical connector (2) and electrical connector with fiber optic cable connector (3) and remove Digital Audio Broadcasting control unit (N87/3) from bracket (4)	To avoid damaging them, do not kink fiber optic cables, route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm.
6	Cover electrical connector with fiber optic cable connector (2) and equipment connection at Digital Audio Broadcasting control unit (N87/3)		AR82.95-P-0005-01A
7	Install in the reverse order
