	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Buffer basic data of lower control panel control unit (N72) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing the lower control panel control unit (N72).
		Installation: Transfer buffered basic data to the new lower control panel control unit (N72).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Remove center console cover (1)	Vehicles up to 14.1.04	AR68.20-P-2350R
		Vehicles as of 15.1.04	AR68.20-P-2350RA
3	Separate electrical connectors (5)
4	Remove screws (6) of the left switch block (3) and remove left switch block (3) from the cover of the center console (1)	Depending on the vehicle equipment, the ESP OFF switch (N72s14), the DTR distance potentiometer (N72r1)or the DTR switch (N72s9) are to be found in the left switch block (3) of the lower control panel control unit (N72).
5	Remove screws (6) of the right switch block (2) and remove the right switch block (2) from the cover of the center console (1)	On vehicles with code (228) Stationary heater or code (220) Parktronic system (PTS)
		The STH switch (N72s12) or the PTS OFF switch (N72s13) are to be found in the right hand switch block (2) of the lower control panel control unit (N72).
6	Remove screws (6) of the rear switch block (4) and remove rear switch block (4) from the cover of the center console (1)	Depending on the vehicle equipment in the rear switch block (4) of the lower control panel control unit (N72) can be found the outside mirror adjustment switch (N72s7), the left/right outside mirror adjustment selection switch (N72s8), the vario roof switch (N72s16), the roll bar switch (N72s17), the level adjustment switch (N72s18), the outside mirror fold-in/fold-out switch (N72s19), the ABC SPORT switch (N72s20), the IMS [IRS] OFF switch (N72s21) or the TS [AS] OFF switch (N72s22).
7	Install in the reverse order
