	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Buffer basic data of driver-side SAM control unit (N10/10) with driver-side fuse and relay module (K40/2) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing the driver-side SAM control unit (N10/10) with driver-side fuse and relay module (K40/2).
		Installation:  Transfer buffered basic data to the new driver-side SAM control unit (N10/10) with driver-side fuse and relay module (K40/2).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Disconnect ground line from on-board electrical system battery and starter battery		AR54.10-P-0003R
3	Open lock (1) and remove cover (2)
4	Disconnect electrical connectors (3) from driver-side fuse and relay module (K40/2)
5	Unlock driver-side SAM control unit (N10/10) with driver-side fuse and relay module (K40/2) at the side (arrows) and pull upwards out of the guides of the fuse and relay box
6	Unlock and remove fuse holder (4)	Observe installed position, which is indicated by color coding and design.
7	Disconnect electrical connectors (5, 6)
8	Open clamp lever (7) in the direction of the arrow and remove electrical line (8) (arrow)
9	Remove driver-side SAM control unit (N10/10) with driver-side fuse and relay module (K40/2)
10	Install in the reverse order
