	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Buffer basic data of rear SAM control unit (N10/8) with rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing rear SAM control unit (N10/8) with rear fuse and relay module (K40/5).
		Installation:  Transfer the buffered basic data to the new rear SAM control unit (N10/8) with rear fuse and relay module (K40/5).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Remove right-hand rear luggage box	Place luggage box with lines connected to one side.
		Vehicles up to 14.1.04	AR68.30-P-7440R
		Vehicles as of 15.1.04	AR68.30-P-7440RA
3	Disconnect ground line from on-board electrical system battery and starter battery		AR54.10-P-0003R
4	Unscrew nuts (1).
5	Pull rear SAM control unit (N10/8) with rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) out upwards
6	Separate electrical connectors (2)
7	Unlock and remove fuse holder (3)	Observe installed position, which is indicated by color coding and design.
8	Separate electrical connectors (4)
9	Remove rear SAM control unit (N10/8) with rear fuse and relay module (K40/5)
10	Install in the reverse order
