Remove/install Distronic control unit - AR54.21-P-0005R

	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go, press the Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off. Remove the Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter (min. 2 m).
2	Fold back floor covering in the area of the footrest (1) and expose footrest (1)
3	Unlock retaining tabs (arrows) on the footrest (1) and fold footrest (1) to the rear
4	Disconnect electrical connectors (2, 3)
5	Remove screws (4) and remove DTR control unit (N63/1) from the footrest (1)
6	Install in the reverse order
