	Remove
	Risk of injury in the form of trapping or crushing, or even severing of limbs, if caught in windshield wiper mechanism	Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
1	Switch on ignition, move the wiper arm into the park position
2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS control unit	On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).
3	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position		AR88.40-P-1000GZ
4	Unscrew nut (3) on the driver-side wiper arm (1)
5	Remove driver-side wiper arm (1) with wiper blade
6	Unscrew nuts (4) on passenger side wiper arm (2)
7	Remove passenger side wiper arm (2) with wiper blade
	Install
8	Install passenger side wiper arm (2) with wiper blade
9	Tighten nuts (4) on passenger side wiper arm (2)		*BA82.30-P-1002-01J
10	Install driver-side wiper arm (1) with wiper blade
11	Tighten nut (3) on driver-side wiper arm (1)		*BA82.30-P-1002-01J
12	Close engine hood		AR88.40-P-1000GZ
13	Check wiper arms and adjust		AR82.30-P-6000GZ
14	Carry out function check
	Windshield wipers, windshield washer system and headlamp cleaning system function check		AP82.30-P-8252GZ
