Loosening a camshaft bearing cap
- Remove camshaft bearing caps 1, 3 and 5.
- Gradually release hexagon head bolts of camshaft bearing caps 2 and 4 by one turn each, until the back pressure is removed. Tightening up the camshaft bearing cap
- Gradually tighten hexagon head bolts of camshaft bearing caps 2 and 4 by one turn
- Tighten hexagon head bolts of camshaft bearing caps 1, 3 and 5.

Loosening a camshaft bearing cap
- Remove camshaft bearing caps 1, 2 and 6.
- Gradually release hexagon head bolts of camshaft bearing caps 3, 4 and 5 by one turn each, until the back pressure is removed. Tightening up the camshaft bearing cap
- Gradually tighten hexagon head bolts of camshaft bearing caps 3, 4 and 5 by one turn.
- Tighten hexagon head bolts of camshaft bearing caps 1, 2 and 6.
