In the event of a defect on an active belt buckle or on the active belt buckle control unit adaptations must always be made using Star Diagnosis.

Active belt buckle defective

The defective active belt buckle must be replaced and the cycle number in the active belt buckle control unit reset to a "zero" value.

Active belt buckle control unit defective, but it can be read out using Star Diagnosis

Read out cycle number of old active belt buckle control unit and copy into new active belt buckle control unit.

Active belt buckle control unit defective, and it can no longer be read out using Star Diagnosis

The left and right active belt buckle, as well as the active belt buckle control unit must be replaced as a complete set, and then the initial startup performed.
