	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Remove center section (78) of the bulkhead
2.1	Remove resonance intake manifold	MODEL 204, 207 with ENGINE 276.9
			AR09.20-P-1961FH
2.2	Remove upper engine cover (5) and left engine air intake duct (9)	MODEL 207 with ENGINE 276.8
3	Disconnect electrical connector from pressure sensor downstream of left cylinder bank air filter (B28/4)	MODEL 207 with ENGINE 276.8
4	Remove left air filter housing (6); to do so, loosen bolt (7)	MODEL 207 with ENGINE 276.8
			AR09.10-P-1150ELS
		Make sure that the air filter housing (6) is seated correctly; check the O-ring for damage and replace if necessary.
5	Remove soundproofing (8)	Make sure that the soundproofing (8) at the left cylinder head cover is seated correctly.
6	Detach vacuum line (2) at vacuum pump (1).
7	Detach vacuum hose (4) from vacuum pump (1)
8	Remove bolts (3) from vacuum pump (1)	Replace bolts (3).
		Bolt, vacuum pump to cylinder head/cylinder head cover	*BA43.05-P-1001-01K
9	Remove vacuum pump (1) upwards	Clean sealing surfaces and replace gasket. Note position of drive plate for vacuum pump (1) during assembly.
10	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
11	Test run engine and carry out leak check
