  1. Grind connection surfaces on rear cross member inner section (6) down to bare metal in shaded areas.
  2. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  3. Coat insides of spot welding flanges (except area JB) with zinc dust paint.

  4. Mark separation points in area B on new D-ring and cut.

    IMPORTANT Dimension X1 = 195 mm. Use top edges of holes in D-ring as reference points.

  5. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas B and M of D-ring section (4) on one side.
  6. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in remaining areas on both sides.
  7. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

  9. Coat insides of spot welding flange (except areas B, M and L) with zinc dust paint.
  10. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas of lock carrier reinforcement (3) on both sides.
  11. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  12. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

  13. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas of lock carrier (5) on both sides.
  14. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  15. Coat insides of spot welding flange (except areas M) with zinc dust paint.

  16. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas of rear cross member outer section (2) on both sides.
  17. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  18. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
