  1. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas B and JB on one side.
  2. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in remaining areas on both sides.
  3. Remove grinding and cutting chips with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  4. Coat insides of spot welding flanges (except areas B and JB) with zinc dust paint.
