| 2 | Fold damper (2) upwards and secure against falling down | ||
| 3 | Remove expansion clips (3) | ||
| 4 | Unclip air duct (4) from engine hood (5) | ||
| 5 | Remove combination filter housing | AR83.00-P-1000TX | |
| 6 | Unclip covering (6) from the wheelhouse liner using a mounting wedge | Figure | |
| 7 | Raise vehicle with lifting platform | AR00.60-P-1000TX | |
| 8 | Turn front wheels all the way to the left | ||
| 9 | Unscrew nut (7) | ||
| 10 | Detach rear section of fender liner (8) far enough from the fender until the windshield washer fluid pump (M5/1) and washer fluid hose (1) are accessible | Figure | |
| 11 | Unclip retainer tab (9) on one side | ||
| 12 | Detach washer fluid hose (1) from windshield washer fluid pump (M5/1) and seal hose connection for windshield washer fluid pump (M5/1) using a suitable stop plug | Figure | |
| 13 | Lower vehicle with lifting platform | ||
| 14 | Unclip drain hose (10) from air inlet (11) and clamp down | ||
| 15 | Remove tie strap (12) | ||
| 16 | Pull washer fluid hose (1) out of wheelhouse liner | ||
| 17 | Unclip washer fluid hose (1) from spray nozzles (13) | ||
| 18 | Remove washer fluid hose (1) from retaining clamps (14) | ||
| 19 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 20 | Fill washer fluid reservoir | ||
| Inspect fluid level of windshield washer system, adjust to correct level | AP82.35-P-8210TX | ||
| 21 | Perform function test on window cleaning system |
