Remove/install rubber boots on rubber mount - AR33.15-P-0160-03T

Variants of rubber mounts

Conventional rubber mount a = 45 mm
Rubber mount (hydro-mount) b = 60 mm

Only assemble rubber boots on hydro mounts (B). Assembly is not envisaged on conventional rubber mounts (A).

The rubber boots (18e) should be fitted to protect the hydro-mounts (18d) of the strut rod (18).

The rubber boots (18e) are not fitted ex works. The rubber mounts (18e) should be retrofitted for repair work on the strut rod (18) or hydro-mount (18d).

The rubber boots (18e) are only pushed over the bearing core and the bearing outer race of the hydro-mount (18d).

Attach rubber boot (18e) flush with the strut rod (18) (arrows).
