	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects.	Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.	AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
1	Remove wheels		AP40.10-P-4050SX
	Checking
2	Check brake disks (1) at front and rear axle	Inspect for scores and cracks. Hairline cracks can occur due to high stress. Brake disks (1) do not have to be replaced when the crack length (2) is a maximum of 25 mm. With perforated brake disks or those provided with sunk holes (1) measure the crack length (2) including the bore diameter. With gaping cracks and score marks deeper than 0.5 mm replace brake disks (1).

3	Remove brake pads	Vehicles with fixed brake caliper	AR42.10-P-0161SX

	Measure
4	Measure brake disk thickness on front and rear axle using caliper gage (012)	Observe recommended limit dimensions, so that the wear limit is not dropped below until the next maintenance service, if necessary replace brake disks (1).
