	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1.1	Remove center paneling in trunk	Model 216.3, model 221.0, model 221.1 without code (Z07) Maximum protection	AR68.30-P-4600SX
1.2	Remove paneling in center of luggage compartment or equipment carrier plate	Model 221.1 with code (Z07) Top protection Depending on vehicle configuration.	AR68.30-P-4600SXS
2	Disconnect ground line on the starter battery and on the on-board electrical system battery (G1)	Disconnect ground line from on-board electrical system with two batteries	AR54.10-P-0003SX
3	Unscrew nuts (1).
4	Remove electrical system control unit (N82/1)
5	Unscrew electrical connections (A)	The number of electrical connectors (A) depends on the vehicle equipment.

6	Separate electrical connectors (B)	The number of electrical connectors (B) depends on the vehicle equipment.
7	Remove vehicle power supply control unit (N82/1)
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Carry out initial startup of the vehicle power supply control unit (N82/1) using STAR DIAGNOSIS	After replacing vehicle power supply control unit (N82/1).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
