Remove contacts from E 95 coupling - AR00.19-P-0120-05A

Unfasten secondary release on version with "E 95 coupling" tab 

  1. Using a suitable tool, push tab in direction of arrow out of locked position.

    Unfasten secondary release on version with "E 95 coupling" slide 

  2. Using a suitable tool, move slide in direction of arrow into pre-locking position (1).

    Unfasten secondary release on version with "E 95 coupling" securing clip 

  3. Push retainer (1) in direction of arrow out of locked position using a suitable tool.

    NOTES The seal may be damaged if the tool is inserted too.

    Unfasten secondary release on version with "E 95 coupling" contact retainer 

  4. Press on tabs of contact retainer between the contact cavities (3, 5 or 4, 6) with suitable tool.
  5. Open contact retainer.

    Unpin female contacts from "E 95 coupling" 

  6. Insert blade holder with SPECIAL TOOL clamping pliers and SPECIAL TOOL E 95 blade from front side though openings at contact cavity of coupling (2).

    NOTES Insert tool carefully to prevent damaging webs between contact cavity and openings for release tool.

    IMPORTANT This pushes together the springs at the female contact (1).

  7. A slight tug on the corresponding cable will remove the female contact (1) from the coupling (2).
