	Remove/install
1	Turn key in ignition switch to position "0".	Vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2	Remove front engine cover (1)	See "Remove/install air filter housing".	AR09.10-P-1150SX
3	Remove bracket (2) for front engine cover (1) from front cover on cylinder head and from bracket (3) by removing bolts (4)		*BA14.30-P-1001-01D
4	Remove air intake hose (5) on electric air pump (M33)
5	Disconnect electrical connector (6) on electric air pump (M33)
6	Detach bracket (3) from the cylinder head and from timing case cover by removing bolts (7)		*BA14.30-P-1002-01D
7	Detach air hoses (8, 9) from electric air pump (M33)
8	Remove electrical air pump (M33) with bracket (3)
9	Detach electric air pump (M33) from bracket (3)	When replacing the electric air pump (M33) Check rubber bushings at bracket (3).	*BA14.30-P-1003-01D
10	Install in the reverse order
11	Read out fault memory
