	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, tailgates or sliding roof.	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	see AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Remove cover (6)
2	Remove hazard warning triangle (5) and bracket (4).
3	Remove umbrella holder (3).
4	Remove hinge bracket trim pieces (2).
5	Remove trunk lid paneling (7)
6	Unclip covering (9)
7	Turn lock cylinder (8) 45° counterclockwise with emergency key (12)	The opening in the lock housing (10) should coincide with the corresponding removal hole in the lock cylinder housing.
8	Insert 1.5 mm WAF Allen wrench (11) into opening on lock housing (10) and pull lock cylinder (8) with emergency key (12) out of lock cylinder housing.	Loosen retaining tab (13) by pressing in the 1.5 mm WAF Allen wrench (11). Installation:  Press lock cylinder (8) against the spring located in the lock cylinder housing when locking.
9	Install in the reverse order
