Remove/install Parktronic system (PTS) control unit - AR54.65-P-0006CW

MODEL 204, 207, 212, 218.3 with CODE (220) PARKTRONIC 

MODEL 207, 212 with CODE (230) Advanced Parking Guidance 

MODEL 218.3 with CODE (235) Active Park Assist

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
REMOVINGINSTALLING Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1 Connect Star Diagnosis and perform initial startup of PARKTRONIC control unit (N62) or the Park Assist control unit (N62) IMPORTANT When replacing the PARKTRONIC control unit (N62) or the Park Assist control unit (N62).
IMPORTANT PARKTRONIC control unit (N62) for model 207, Park Assist control unit (N62) for model 204, 212, 218.

2 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) IMPORTANT KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go.  
3 Fold back floor covering (1) in passenger footwell    
4 Remove footrest damping material (2) Model 204.0/2/3  
5 Detach footrest (3) and fold back    
6 Remove screws/bolts (4)    
7 Detach electrical connections (5) and remove PARKTRONIC control unit (N62) or Park Assist control unit (N62) IMPORTANT PARKTRONIC control unit (N62) for model 207, Park Assist control unit (N62) for model 204, 212, 218.  
8 Install in the reverse order
