Location
The following antennas, if equipped, are embedded in the rear window between 2 panes of glass:
- FM
- AM
- TV (model 204.0)
The antenna for radio remote central locking is also located in the rear window.
Task
The rear window antennas are connected to the FM, AM and CL [ZV] antenna amplifier (A2/18) as well as to the rear window antenna FM antenna amplifier (A2/19) (model 204.0) or rear window antenna amplifier 1 (A2/71) (model 204.2) via a discrete line. The rear window antennas have the task of receiving and forwarding the following radio signals, depending on the equipment version:
- FM
- AM
- TV (model 204.0)
- Vehicle Information and Communication System (VICS) signals in FM band
- Radio remote central locking
- Keyless Go system authorization signal (model 204.0)
