Prepare front glass cover body flange for installation - AR77.21-P-7010-02CW

Fig 1: Applying Primer To Bonding Surfaces Where No Remaining Adhesive Is Present

Do not touch bonding surfaces (1) with bare fingers and they should be free of dust, oil, grease, wax and other adhesive components or dirt residues. Otherwise the strength of the glued connections is impaired.

1. Cut down present glue beads on bonding surface (1) to a height of approx. 1mm to max. 2mm. Wet and dry vacuum cleaner.
   NOTE: Do not leave more than 2mm of the existing adhesive beads. Remove remaining pieces not cut off completely from adhesive beads.
2. Repair paint damage on panoramic roof frame (2).
3. Apply primer to bonding surfaces (1) where no remaining adhesive is present.
   NOTE: Observe processing notes for primer. Otherwise the adhesive force of the adhesive material starts to decrease when installing window.
