	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Notes on avoiding damage to fiber optic cables during repair work		AH82.60-P-0001-05AK
1	Temporarily store basic data of Digital Audio Broadcasting control unit (N87/3) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing the Digital Audio broadcasting control unit (N87/3). Installation:  Copy temporarily stored basic data into Digital Audio Broadcasting control unit (N87/3).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go.
3	Remove trunk floor paneling (1)
4	Remove anchoring lugs (4)	In vehicles without code (287) Through-loading feature, expansion clips must be removed instead of anchoring lugs (4).

5	Push carrier plate cover (2) back and remove
6	Separate electrical connectors (7, 8)
7	Expose electric wiring harness (9)
8	Remove bolts (10)
9	Unclip holder (5) (arrows A) and remove from carrier plate (6) with Digital Audio Broadcasting control unit (N87/3)	Installation:  Ensure that tabs (arrows B) are properly seated in the carrier plate (6).
10	Unscrew nuts on underside of holder (5) and remove Digital Audio Broadcasting control unit (N87/3)	When replacing bracket (5) or Digital Audio Broadcasting control unit (N87/3).
11	Install in the reverse order
