Instrument cluster (IC), networking of components - GF54.30-P-0002-06SK
The instrument cluster (A1) is linked with the Controller Area Network Class C bus (CAN-C) and the Controller Area Network Class B bus (CAN-B). Data communications with the control units are expedited through CAN-C and CAN-B.
The instrument cluster (A1) does not serve as an interface between CAN-C and CAN-B.

Linking the instrument cluster (A1) to CAN-C and CAN-B reduces the number of connections to:
- CAN-C low
- CAN-C high
- CAN-B low
- CAN-B high
- Terminal 31 e
