Remove/install BAS diaphragm travel sensor - AR42.31-P-6002VA

	Remove/install
1	Reduce vacuum in BAS brake booster (A7/7)	To do this, press the brake pedal several times with the engine switched off.
2	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position		AR88.40-P-1000V
3	Unlock the diaphragm travel sensor connector (A7/7x1) and disconnect.
4	Lift up lock washer (1) with screwdriver and pull BAS diaphragm travel sensor (A7/7b1) out of the BAS brake booster (A7/7)	In order to avoid a permanent set of the lock washer (1), lift up the lock washer (1) by a maximum of 10 mm. Installation:  Install new O-ring (2). Installation:  Check the correct latching of the lock washer (1) in the grooves on the BAS diaphragm travel sensor (A7/7b1) and on the BAS brake booster (A7/7).
5	Install in the reverse order
6	Read out fault memory
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A

	Risk of death  caused by body parts being pulled in by rotating vehicle wheels and roller dynamometer rollers	Do not insert your hand into rotating parts. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Safeguard areas with rotating vehicle parts and dynamometer rollers against unauthorized access. Safeguard roller dynamometer from unauthorized access.	-
7	Perform a function test
	Brake testing on test stand		AP42.00-P-4290V
