Observe the manufacturer's assembly specifications and safety information on the engine lifting device (01), in order to avoid assembly faults.

1. Mount preassembled engine lifting device (01) on the suspension strut towers and longitudinal members.

   When mounting the engine lifting device (01), ensure that in the area of the longitudinal members suspension and strut towers no lines or hoses are pinched and that the paintwork is not damaged.

2. Adjust the engine lifting device (01) and tighten the bolted connections.
3. Remove hose (1)
4. Mount lifting device (2) on the front lifting eye of the engine.
5. Tighten clamping bolt (3) and raise engine slightly until the load is taken off the front engine mounts.
