	Removal/installation
	Risk of injury. Injuries may result when performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag unit with deployment face up, do not subject to temperatures above 100°C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.
1	Remove the instrument panel (2) and place on suitable base with underside facing upwards		AR68.10-P-1000V
2	Unscrew bolts (3)		*BA91.60-P-1016-01A
3	Remove front passenger airbag unit (1) from instrument panel (2)	If the front passenger airbag (1) is replaced, the defective unit must be disposed of properly. Refer to: ↓

4	Install in the reverse order
5.1	Read out fault memory	When installing new front passenger airbag unit (1)
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		Diagnosis system STAR DIAGNOSIS	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
