It is also possible to order the illuminated door sill molding (1) with the lettering "AMG" (see parts ordering notes).

	Removal
	Risk of death  caused by contact with parts conducting high voltages.	Do not touch parts which conduct high voltages. Persons who wear electronic implants (e.g. heart pacemakers) must not  perform any work on such components.	AS00.00-Z-0020-01A
1	Remove rear passenger compartment side trim panel	Move both seats completely to front. Left and right side paneling.
	Remove/install side paneling in rear	Model 230.4	AR68.30-P-4780R
2	Remove left and right rear luggage box	Place luggage box with lines connected to one side.
	Remove/install rear luggage box	Model 230.467/474 475/476 up to 14.1.04	AR68.30-P-7440R
		Model 230.4 as of 15.1.04	AR68.30-P-7440RA
3	Connect quiescent current retention unit to battery in luggage compartment.		*WH58.30-Z-1012-09A
	Risk of explosion  caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
4	Disconnect battery ground cable

5	Retrofit illuminated entrance trim panel (1)		AZ82.20-P-0001-01R
6	Route wiring harness for illuminated door sill molding		AZ82.20-P-0001-02R
7	Carry out function check	When the door contact switch is actuated the door sill molding illuminates but switches off again automatically after 5 minutes.
8	Install remaining parts onto vehicle	Operation steps 4 to 1.
