Function 

Terminating a call 

If a call has been made with the telephone handset (A34) or portable CTEL (A34/6), there are a number of ways of terminating the call.

• Hanging the telephone handset (A34) in mount (fixed installation)
• Pressing the End key

If a call has been made using the hands-free system, there are also a number of ways of terminating the call.

• Pressing the End key
• Picking up and hanging up the telephone handset (A34) again (fixed installation)
• In vehicles with voice control system (VCS) (code 813b): Actuate VCS switch (S93/2)
• In vehicles with multifunction steering wheel: operate the accept/terminate phone call button (S111s3)

Shutting off 

The unit can be switched off by pressing the OFF button and removing the card.

During this operation ensure that the card is removed only with the unit switched off in order to prevent destruction of the chip on the SIM card (S  ubscriber I  dentification M  odule). Moreover, it may be necessary to enter the PIN code (P  ersonal Identification N  umber) again when switching back on (depending on system).
