	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Transfer basic data of amplifier for sound system (N40/3) to Star Diagnosis	When replacing the amplifier for sound system (N40/3). Installation:  Transfer basic data from STAR DIAGNOSIS to amplifier for sound system (N40/3).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go, press KEYLESS-GO start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove the transmitter key from the vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 meters).
3	Unhook trunk partition
4	Remove trunk floor
5	Remove stowage box/tray for vehicle tool kit
6	Disconnect electrical connector (1) and fiber optic cable coupling (2) from amplifier for sound system (N40/3)
7	Unscrew nuts (3) and remove amplifier for sound system (N40/3)	To avoid damaging the fiber optic cable, do not kink fiber optic cables, route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm.
8	Cover fiber optic cable coupling (2) and equipment connector on amplifier for sound system (N40/3)		AR82.95-P-0005-01A
9	Install in the reverse order
