NOTES When carrying out painting work (during repairs or when replacing parts) under the bumper covers and longitudinal member trims, the body surfaces must be additionally sprayed with MB permanent underfloor protection (water-soluble) after priming to improve the corrosion protection.

On clear varnish systems with higher scratch resistance observe the appropriate information (Service information).

On all vehicles with the colors MB 9189 (emerald black) and MB 9199 (blue black), the longitudinal members do not need to be painted in MB 7167 (deep dark gray matt). The longitudinal members on these vehicles are painted in the vehicle color.
