Remove contacts from Junior Power Timer connector - AR00.19-P-0120-08A

Unfasten secondary release on version with locking bar 

  1. Using a suitable tool, move locking bar (1) in direction of arrow out of locked position.

    Unfasten secondary release on version with retaining cap (shown on Junior Power Timer, micro quadlock system (MQS) connector) 

  2. Using a suitable tool, pry up the lock tab on the retaining cap (6).
  3. Move retaining cap (6) in direction of arrow up to the stop.

    Unfasten secondary release on version with lock tab 

  4. Insert suitable tool underneath locking tabs (1).
  5. Pry up the lock tabs (1) in direction shown by arrow.

    Unpin contact pins from the connector 

  6. Insert blade holder with SPECIAL TOOL clamping pliers with SPECIAL TOOL JPT/SPT blade or SPECIAL TOOL MCP 2.8/Fl blade. 2.8/JPT/SPT blade from the front through the openings in contact cavity of connector housing (3).

    IMPORTANT This results in the spring shackles of the contact pin (2) being compressed.

  7. Remove contact pin (2) from connector housing (3) by gently pulling the relevant cable.
