	Removing
	Risk of injury caused by hands or feet being pinched or crushed when working on windshield or windows	Secure panes and windows against falling down, use only lifting tools specified for this purpose; wear protective shoes.	AS67.00-Z-0003-01A
1	Mask side piece with adhesive tape in area of side window	Attach adhesive tape to prevent damage to paintwork.
2	Remove trim frame (3) from side window (1)	Velcro connection
3	Attach vacuum lifting device to side window (1) Vacuum lifting device for special protection vehicles	gotis://K_67.0_03.0
4	Remove protective frame (4)	Have second person help remove protective frame (4)
5	Remove theft protection (7)
6	Cut window rubber element (2)	Do not damage side window antenna cable (A2/33). Cut window rubber element (2) from inside with sharp knife.
7	Disconnect connector plugs on side window antenna (A2/33) from connections on side window FM/AM antenna amplifiers (A2/35)
8	Adjust both side window supports (5) downward
9	Uniformly press side window (1) toward outside along edges	Use crane or lifting device to remove side window (1) or have second person help. Vacuum lifting device for special protection vehicles gotis://K_67.0_03.0

	Install
10	Remove tape.
11	Install new window rubber element (2) on side window (1)	Bottom separation point
12	Pull pulling cord (6) over window rubber element (2)
13	Coat window rubber element (2) with lubricant	Antifriction agent	*BR00.45-Z-1032-06A
14	Insert side window (1) and press on	Use crane or lifting device to install side window (1) or have second person help. Vacuum lifting device for special protection vehicles gotis://K_67.0_03.0

15	Align sealing lip on window rubber element (2)
16	Pull in pulling cord (6)	Uniformly and carefully pull pulling cord (6) out toward middle of window, simultaneously have second person press against window from outside. Sealing lip on window rubber element (2) should make contact all the way around.
17	Adjust both side window supports (5) upwards and align side window (1)	Adjust side window supports (5) until side window (1) makes contact all the way around.
18	Install theft protection (7)	Use new microencapsulated bolts.
19	Connect connector plugs on side window antenna (A2/33) to connections on side window FM/AM antenna amplifiers (A2/35)
20	Check radio for proper function
21	Install protective frame (4)	To position protective frame (4) have second person help Use new microencapsulated bolts.
22	Install trim frame (3)	Replace Velcro strip.	*BR00.45-Z-1042-02A
