Operate windshield washer system of windshield and check function.
The washer fluid must strike the windshield in the upper area of the wiper field. At the same time, the windshield wipers must switch on and off again automatically.

Clean fouled or clogged spray nozzles using a suitable needle and compressed air from outside, check adjustment if necessary with regulating drift.

Check the function of the various speed stages of the windshield wiper on the windshield.
Speed stages:

Position "0": Windshield wipers switched off

Position "I": Intermittent

Position "II": Slow

Position "III": Fast

Operate windshield washer system of rear window and check for proper operation.
The washer fluid must strike the rear window centrally in the upper area of the wiper field.

Clean fouled or clogged spray nozzles using a suitable needle and compressed air from outside, check adjustment if necessary with regulating drift.
Switch on rear window wiper, check for function and switch off.
