- 3.1 Separate electrical connector (16).
On vehicles with code (600) Headlamp cleaning system.
- 4 Release retainer tabs at electrical connector (12) and remove electrical connector (12) from washer fluid reservoir (1).
- 5.1 Press safety clip (arrow A) and detach washer fluid hose from the HCS [SRA] pump (M5/2).
On vehicles with code (600) Headlamp cleaning system. Collect washer fluid which flows out. Replace sealing ring at hose connection.
- 6 Detach washer fluid hose from the windshield washer fluid pump (M5/1).
Collect washer fluid which flows out.
- 7 Press safety clip (arrow B) and detach connector hose (13) from washer fluid reservoir (1).
Collect washer fluid which flows out. Replace sealing ring at hose connection.
- 8 Detach electrical connector from windshield washer fluid level indicator switch (S42).
- 9 Unscrew nut (14).
Replace self-locking nut (14).
- 10 Release cover (9) of washer fluid reservoir (1).
- 11 Release washer fluid reservoir (1) out of guides (15).
Installation:
Ensure that the washer fluid reservoir is seated correctly in the guides (15).
- 12 Take cover (9) with heating elements from washer fluid reservoir (1) and place aside.
- 13 Detach washer fluid reservoir (1) from filler neck (2) and remove washer fluid reservoir (1).
Replace seal of filler neck (2) on washer fluid reservoir (1).
- 14 Install in the reverse order.
