Treat bonding surface on rear window (hatched area) with glass primer.
The bonding surface (hatched area) is located centrally above mark (8) on rear window. Observe flash-off time for glass primer.

2.1 Remove adhesive residue from underside of telephone antenna (A2/49a1), clean bonding surface and glue on adhesive foil (1).
Only when re-using the old telephone antenna (A2/49a1). The bonding surface of telephone antenna (A2/49a1) must be free of oil and grease.

3 Remove covering foil from underside of telephone antenna (A2/49a1).
Glue on telephone antenna (A2/49a1) immediately after removing covering foil, otherwise proper bonding cannot be guaranteed.

4 Glue telephone antenna (A2/49a1) on rear window and position antenna line (5) in cutout (arrow).
Position telephone antenna (A2/49a1) such that telephone antenna (A2/49a1) is in the center of mark (8).
5 Firmly press on telephone antenna (A2/49a1).
Apply load of approx. 20 kg for approx. 5 sec.
