Treat bonding surface on rear window (hatched area) with glass primer.
The bonding surface (hatched area) is located centrally above mark (8) on rear window. Observe flash-off time for glass primer.

2.1 Remove adhesive residue from underside of GPS antenna (A2/49a2), clean bonding surface and glue on adhesive foil (1).
Only when re-using the old GPS antenna (A2/49a2). The bonding surface of the GPS antenna (A2/49a2) must be free of oil and grease.

3 Remove covering foil from underside of GPS antenna (A2/49a2).
Glue on GPS antenna (A2/49a2) immediately after removing covering foil, otherwise proper bonding cannot be guaranteed.

4 Glue GPS antenna (A2/49a2) on rear window and position antenna lines (5) in cutout (arrow).
Position GPS antenna (A2/49a2) such that the GPS antenna (A2/49a2) is in the center of mark (8).
5 Firmly press on the GPS antenna (A2/49a2).
Apply load of approx. 20 kg for approx. 5 sec.
