	Remove/install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
	The air spring (41) may only be removed together with the container for additional volume (41p). The connector hose from the air spring (41) to the container for additional volume (41p) must not be detached as leaks occur as a result. Furthermore it is to be ensured that the air springs (41) are emptied completely before removal with STAR DIAGNOSIS. If the air springs (41) are not installed and filled according to the specifications, these can be predamaged and fail a short time later
	Only tighten nuts and bolts of chassis components when vehicle is in a ready-to-drive condition.

2	Disconnect pressure line (41a) from air spring (41)	Installation: When reinstalling the old air spring ensure that the pressure line is carefully screwed onto the plastic thread, because if it is not screwed in properly the plastic thread can be damaged and therefore the air spring is destroyed. Installation: If installing a new air spring remove screw connection at pressure line. Do to this, pull off screw head and insert pressure line up to marking in connection of new air spring. Pull back pressure line slightly so that retaining edges around inside of clamping ring engage in outer surface of line. Plug the pressure line for the duration of the repair operations. Installation: Before assembly, damaged pressure line connections or damaged pressure lines must be repaired.	AR32.22-P-2001-02I

7	Remove air springs (41) together with additional volume reservoir (41p)	Do not twist the air spring as this produces creases in the air spring bellows which would then lead to failure. Installation: If the old air spring is used again, any parts existing from the destroyed retaining clip (7) must be removed from the air spring and the retaining clip replaced.	AR32.22-P-1500-02T
