Install/remove emergency buffer - AR32.00-P-1000TX

MODEL 211, 219 

For vehicle axles without steel suspension

NOTES The emergency buffers may only be used for maneuvering purposes    
1 Raise corresponding side of vehicle    
  Front axle     
2 SPECIAL TOOL Mount front axle emergency buffer (1a) onto upper transverse control arm (6) SPECIAL TOOL Fig 2
3 Slowly lower vehicle and make sure that the emergency buffer (1a) is positioned at the top of the wheelhouse SPECIAL TOOL  
  Rear axle     
4 Push protective boot (3) of damper (4) downwards NOTES Carefully pry protective boot (3) off damper (4), to avoid damaging the protective boot (3).  
5 Remove locking pin from SPECIAL TOOL rear axle emergency buffer (1b), SPECIAL TOOL mount emergency buffer (1b) onto piston rod (2) and insert locking back pin into SPECIAL TOOL emergency buffer (1b) SPECIAL TOOL Fig 3
6 Slowly lower vehicle    
7 Remove in reverse order
