MODEL 230 as of 1.4.03 except CODE (P99) Special model "AMG Black Series" 

Modification to top transverse control arm 

Phased in as of 02/2003 on model 211 and 04/2003 on model 230 the top transverse control arms are changed over from aluminum die-casting (illustration A) to aluminum sheet metal variant with bolted on upper ball joint (illustration B).

Both variants can be fitted.
