If the vehicle approaches an obstacle when moving forwards (v ≥ 16 km/h), the front Parktronic components are active.
The front sensors (6 pieces) of the front bumper PTS sensor unit (A42) detect obstacles:
- in the range of A (15 cm to 60 cm)
- in the range of B (20 cm to 100 cm)
The driver is alerted visually and acoustically by the PTS warning display, center of instrument panel (A44/4).
