Install longitudinal member front section and weld in - AR62.20-P-1260-07T

  1. Fit longitudinal member front section and cut to size using body saw.
  2. Install longitudinal member outer front section and longitudinal member reinforcement, fasten to straightening member and fasten with clamping pliers.
  3. Weld in longitudinal member reinforcement with SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area A).
  4. Remove outer longitudinal member front section.
  5. Weld in longitudinal member reinforcement, complete with SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area A).
  6. Clean weld with wire brush.
  7. Remove grinding and drilling chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  8. Coat weld and inner adjacent surfaces with zinc dust paint.

  9. Install outer longitudinal member front section and crash box console, fasten to straightening member and fasten with clamping pliers.
  10. Weld in outer longitudinal member front section with longitudinal member reinforcement with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas D and E).
  11. Weld in outer longitudinal member with SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area C).

    IMPORTANT Do not grind down flat inert gas-shielded arc weld for reasons of strength (area C)

  12. Clean welds with wire brush.
  13. Remove grinding and drilling chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  14. Coat welds and inner adjacent surfaces with zinc dust paint.

  15. Install inner longitudinal member and fasten with clamping pliers.
  16. Weld in longitudinal member and crash box console with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas F, G, H, I and J).

    IMPORTANT Do not grind down flat inert gas-shielded arc weld for reasons of strength (area B)

  17. Clean welds with wire brush.
  18. Weld in inner longitudinal member with SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area B).
  19. Remove grinding and drilling chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
