Panoramic sliding roof lock-up recognition, function - GF77.20-P-3007T

MODEL 211.0 with CODE (413) Panoramic sliding roof

Panoramic sliding roof lock-up recognition, unction

The overhead control panel control module (N70) receives the voltage pulses from the two Hall sensors, panoramic sliding roof Hall sensor 1 (M12/6b1) and panoramic sliding roof Hall sensor 2 (M12/6b2) located on the panoramic sliding roof motor (M12/6m1) and evaluates these signals for position measurement.

If the pulses from the Hall sensors are absent for longer than approx. 0,2 s during actuation of the panoramic sliding roof, the drive is switched off.

Function abortion

In the event of failure of one or both Hall sensors, the panoramic sliding roof is desynchronized, i.e. the position of the panoramic sliding roof is not known. In the event of desynchronization, the panoramic sliding roof can only be closed in increments of t=160 ms with the roof system switch (N70s1) or with the emergency crank.

Desynchronization also occurs if the panoramic sliding roof is obstructed during pop-up.

IMPORTANT The panoramic sliding roof motor (M12/6m1) is protected against overload by a mechanical temperature protection switch.
