Function
Open window via recirculated air When the message is received to manually open via air recirculation, the corresponding window is actuated in the opening direction until the stored position is reached. The function can be activated if closing via the recirculated air pushbutton was performed beforehand after circuit 15 "ON".
The windows open automatically as far as the stored position if the current window position is at least 8 Hall pulses (default value) above the stored opening position. A window will not be activated if it is positioned less than 8 Hall pulses (default value) above the stored opening position, or if it has in the meantime been lowered to below the stored position.
If, during opening, before reaching the stored position, a closing operation is started again via the air recirculation switch (N22s2) (except code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning) or air recirculation switch (N22/7s2) (with code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning), the opening position stored first is maintained.
The motion is reversed immediately.
This function is discontinued in the event of
- The power window operating switch is activated in either direction
- Lock-up recognition
- The maximum window travel is exceeded.
- The stored position is reached.
- Cancellation of actuation request
- Failure of CAN message (CAN = Controller Area Network).
Position for window opening is stored via recirculated air
The current window position is stored before the recirculated air closing operation in order to move back to this position when a recirculated air opening function is accomplished subsequently.
Function requirements for position storage
- Circuit 15 ON and
- new request for recirculated air closing operation received and
- no position stored and
- power window is not actuated.
The stored position is canceled when the position is reached again during opening. A window which is not completely closed also participates in the subsequent opening operation. A window already actuated by a switch does not participate on the recirculated air opening operation.
A window already actuated by the automatic recirculated air function participates in a further recirculated air function.
An opening or closing operation via air recirculation is not influenced by a similar control command from the air recirculation switch.
When the recirculated air closing function is requested a number of times a valid stored position is not written over when the window was already completely closed at the time of the next request.
On model 211.6 the number of power window motors and door control units in the rear can vary depending on the equipment and special body.
