Method adapted for vehicles without HCS [SRA] switch

Step 4

	Checking
	Risk of fire and explosion  caused by ignition of window washing fluid or antifreeze and their vapors. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing window washing fluid or antifreeze or inhaling their vapors. Risk of injury  or physical irritations caused by contact of window washing fluid or antifreeze with eyes, mucous membranes or skin.	Wear protective clothing and tight fitting safety glasses. No fire, open light or ignition sources. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and skin. When working with window washing fluids or antifreeze, do not eat, drink, or smoke. Do not inhale vapors and ensure sufficient ventilation in the working area. Store window washing fluid and antifreeze leakfree in safely closed original containers and out of children's' reach only. 3	Switch on wipers and check adjustment of wiper arms	The wiper blade must not collide with the A-pillar, cowl or liftgate otherwise damage will occur to the body or wiper mechanism. In the event of complaint, check wiper blades and wiper arms for deformation and if necessary replace subject to a separate computation.
4	Check spray nozzles of headlamp cleaning system for proper operation as well as their adjustment	Vehicles with code 600 Headlamp cleaning system, code 614 Bi-xenon headlamp unit or Code 615 Bi-xenon headlamp unit with integrated curve illumination Vehicles with HCS [SRA] switch (S1s1, S1s7): Press HCS [SRA] switch (S1s1, S1s7) Vehicles without HCS [SRA] switch (S1s1, S1s7): Start engine, switch on low beams and operate the windshield washer system of the windshield until the headlamp cleaning system is activated. The spray jets must strike the lens in the area of the light source, if necessary correct the adjustment with a regulating drift. Use a suitable needle to clean blocked spray nozzles from the outside
