	Remove/Install
1	Open ashtray
2	Unclip center console cover (2) in the direction of the arrow from center console	Do not disconnect electrical connectors on lower control panel control module (N72) on vehicles with code (489a) Airmatic (semi-active air suspension), (220a) Parktronic system (PTS), (889) Keyless Go, (423a) Automatic 5-gear transmission (NAG), (219a) Distronic (DTR), (228) Stationary heater,
3	Remove bolts (3)
4	Lift paneling on left (4) and paneling on right (5) at front and remove
5	Remove bolts (6)
6	Remove stowage compartment (1) out of the center console
7	Install in the reverse order
